About Us

Jina Foundation is dedicated to alleviating financial distress worldwide, with a focus on empowering women and children. As a Canadian not-for-profit, our mission transcends geographical and cultural boundaries, improving the well-being of vulnerable communities through education, advocacy, and support.

How It Works

At the core of our mission is the unwavering commitment to enhance the quality of life for vulnerable groups.
We recognize that overcoming geographical and cultural boundaries is pivotal to achieving this goal.

01

Empowerment Programs

Empowerment through education and skill development is at the core of our mission. We assist individuals in accessing scholarships and financial aid, enabling them to pursue educational opportunities and gain skills for economic independence and personal development.

02

Connecting Supporters to Needs

A pivotal part of our strategy is our “Family for Family” program. We first identify families in need, understanding their specific requirements, and then connect them with one or more families willing to fulfill these needs. This program fosters a direct and impactful support system.

03

Collaborative Effort

We actively collaborate with both local and international organizations extending our reach and deepening our impact.

Our Ongoing Project:
Family for Family

The Family for Family initiative focuses on identifying families in need—children who cannot attend school due to financial hardships, families with sick members requiring medical support, and children suffering from neglect or abuse due to parental challenges.

Our dedicated helpers thoroughly assess each family’s situation, providing detailed reports on their living conditions and financial needs. Based on this, we match one or more sponsor families who offer monthly assistance. Rather than providing cash, our support mainly focuses on delivering essential resources such as educational tools, medical supplies, and other necessities.

We closely monitor the children’s educational progress and the healing of patients, ensuring their ongoing needs are met. Every three months, sponsors receive a full report on the family’s progress, including updates on education, health, and overall well-being.
